The Empower a Woman core team is currently made up of the 4 professional women who have a passion for bringing change into the lives of vulnerable women. We also have volunteers, partners and other charities that support the work we do.

Eruke is married with 2 Kids. Currently works as a Principal Project Manager for Nuance Communications. She is also a director of Alytera Ltd, a company that runs out of Nigeria and is focused on helping businesses work more effectively and efficiently. She brings this expertise into planning projects for Empower a Woman and coordinates all the projects and other administrative functions. She is very passionate about working with vulnerable mums and the homeless

Rachel is the mum of two amazing boys. She is also a qualified teacher and has been successfully running a tuition centre since 2005. Her passion is to encourage, motivate and empower women to enjoy life and live a life of significance no matter what they are going through or what they have been through. Rachel uses her expertise to organise projects that engage our service users and meets their needs. From 1-2-1 mentoring and support to group sessions, running course like shine from within. She is also the founder of Women Empowering Projects and we collaborate to host various parties to raise funds to support the work we do..

‚ÄčAmanda is married with 3 kids. She is a graduate (LLB Hons), She is a Prince 2 Practitioner and is Certified in Business Analysis Practice. She is currently studying for an MSc in Health Care Leadership. Amanda is a senior professional in the NHS and currently works as the Head of Commissioning Mental Health for NHS West Kent CCG and is very passionate about emotional resilience and uses her professional expertise to support vulnerable women through her published books, blog, speaking engagements and teaching..

Rachel osinaike - head of outreach & fundraising

Efemena is Senior Programme Manager in the Telecomms Industry. She uses her expertise to coordinate all the projects in West Africa including the Christmas project for Widows and Children education sponsorship. She is passionate about working with low income mums, supporting entrepreneurship and promoting schemes that enable women to work part time whilst raising a family. She runs 2 successful businesses and teaches vulnerable women vital skills in making Jewellery and Candles for retail.
